- Qualified HVAC Technician
About the Role
- Install and set up systems according to engineering specifications, standards and codes.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in systems, including identifying and replacing faulty components.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to systems, analysing complex problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and manufacturer guidelines while carrying out maintenance tasks.
- Identify and address safety hazards promptly and report any incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel.
- May be required to work outside of normal work hours on occasion, inclusive of weekends and night shift.
- On-call available.

Skills and experience
Essential Skills required for this position are:
- Current Trade Qualification
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current SA Drivers Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- DCSI Working with Children Clearance
- Equipped with own Tool Kit
- Willing to undergo National Police Check
- Hands on experience with repairs, emergency breakdowns and maintenance on a variety of assets in commercial backgrounds
Other Skills Highly regarded but not Essential include:
- Hospital patient area experience
- EWP/Yellow Card
- Senior First Aid
