AddressPARKER HANNIFIN, Australia's only single source supplier of fluid power and fluid connector products is currently seeking the services of Hydraulic Assemblers to work day shift within our Wodonga Manufacturing Facility.
General Characteristics:
Reporting to the Hydraulics Team Leader, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of hydraulic components to the required standard which includes conducting the relevant quality procedures.
Representative Activities:
- Assembly of hydraulic and pneumatic products
- Testing of hydraulic and pneumatic products
- Cleaning, painting and detailing of completed products
- Assist in other areas of production as directed
- Issue and complete work orders as required
- Identify and help solve production/ QA problems or potential problems.
Qualifications/Education:
- Higher School Certificate
- A mechanical trade qualification is preferred but not essential
Experience:
2-3 years' experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Previous hydraulic assembly and testing experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve
Special Skills:
- Premier Customer Service qualities
- Good time management skills, with the ability to multi task
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques & concepts
- Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications
