About the Opportunity
Berendsen Fluid Power is on the lookout for a Hydraulic Fitter / Machinist to join our high performing team, located at Maryland NSW 2287.
We are looking for a self-starter that shares our company values and is wanting to grow alongside the company. This role will see you working across a broad range of industrial sectors, providing breakdown and diagnostics support on hydraulic systems and equipment used in fixed plant and mobile equipment.
Your responsibilities in this role will include.
Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications.
Strip, measure, inspect and report on all components.
Cleaning and preparing components.
Assemble and testing of cylinders.
Provide routine preventative maintenance services on existing hydraulic equipment.
Perform allocated work within the workshop, which will include cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs and testing.
Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
Relevant trade qualifications (ie Diesel, Mechanical or Hydraulic Fitter)
Hydraulic overhaul and machining experience.
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics together with sound report writing capabilities.
Understanding of the re-manufacture process including fitting, machining, and welding.
Flexibility to work overtime when required.
Ability to work well within a team and autonomously.
Valid Driver's Licence and demonstrated safety first mindset.
This position will attract a wage of between $43.00 to $46.00 per hour commensurate with your qualification, experience and accomplishments.
