The role:

We have a great opportunity for a ICP Quality Control Operator who is excited by the challenges of our business and variety this role offers. You will be based in Canning Vale and will be responsible to ensure that the quality of sample results from the ICP MS/OES instruments reported to clients, meets and exceeds the client’s expectations.

As ICP QC, some of your tasks will be, but not limited to:

  • Assessing data obtained from ICP instrumentation            
  • Initiating corrective actions.
  • Finalising data from ICP instrumentation
  • Aiding in the instrument operation when required

What’s needed?

Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:

  • Previous experience with ICP-MS and/or ICP-OES instrument operation is essential, while experience with data calculation and QAQC of results is highly desirable.
  • Computer literacy skills, preferably with a laboratory LIMS.
  • Previous experience working in a minerals laboratory is essential.
  • A formal qualification in Chemistry, such as a BSc or Diploma / Certificate.
  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills.

Shift work roster

  • Monday to Friday 
    • 8 hour rotating shift roster 
      • Day shift (6.00am – 2.00pm)
      • Afternoon shift (2.00pm – 10.00pm)

**Full availability across all shifts is required

**Opportunity to work overtime on Saturdays and Sundays as required depending on workload
