The Role

An opportunity exists to join the Infinite Care team as a full time In House Lawyer in our Corporate Support Centre in Bundall, Gold Coast. Residential Aged Care Providers Australia | Infinite Age Care (infin8care.com.au)

You will be a key support to the Chief Legal & Commercial Officer and other legal team members.   A perfect opportunity for a self-motivated and dynamic individual who is looking to grow with us, develop their career, and who can juggle multiple competing & time sensitive demands. 

Key Responsibilities

Under the support and guidance of the Chief Legal & Commercial Officer your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, negotiating and drafting a range of commercial and legal documents including but not limited to Confidentiality Agreements, Consultant Services Agreements and Supplier Agreements
  • Contract administration
  • Aged Care compliance matters
  • Manage requests from internal stakeholders and where necessary provide reports to senior management personnel
  • Provide ad hoc legal advice through research and consultation to support the Infinite Care Group
  • Analyse and identify legal risks and implications
  • Coordinate and liaise with external legal advisors and consultants
  • General administration requirements and ad hoc projects as directed
  • Keep abreast of all new laws and regulations that may have implications to the Group
  • Work to resolve complex matters with support from the Chief Legal & Commercial Officer

 What we expect from you?

  • 2-4 years post admission experience
  • Qualified to practice law in Queensland with relevant law experience gained from a reputable law firm or in-house legal department
  • Exposure to the Aged Care sector would be advantageous but not essential
  • Proven knowledge of legal concepts and their application to achieve effective business outcomes
  • Ability to establish, maintain and enhance positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Effectively and professionally communicate both verbally and in written format
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, drafting skills and timely communication is essential
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to produce quality work output within quick turnaround times
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management and organisation skills with ability to multi-task
  • A positive attitude and good sense of humour is a must!
