We are partnering with SA Water to recruit an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leader with extensive experience in human resources and workforce development.This role will lead the development and delivery of key initiatives and support strategic and tactical approaches to improve employment outcomes for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, with a key focus on recruitment, retention, and professional development.This role is an opportunity for an experienced, purpose-driven professional to take the lead on their business workforce development and recruitment strategies for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.Purpose:Using your proven relationship building and high-level communication skills, you will:
- Support our client to establish, build, and maintain strong working relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and communities in South Australia;
- Lead the business to develop an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workforce Plan, and lead initiatives across the business to support the employment, training and development needs and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees;
- Support targeted Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recruitment strategies across the organisation.
- Proven ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders on sensitive and complex issues.
- Proven ability to act with integrity on sensitive organisational and personal matters.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills

- Flexible hours and some after hours as required.
- Initial and subsequent medical clearances, in additional to some immunisations as relevant to the position.
- Depending on the role, you will be required to undergo initial and/or subsequent clearance checks to ensure your ongoing suitability for the role. These may include a criminal police clearance, traffic check, Working with Children and/or Working with Vulnerable People clearance.
- Some intra and/or interstate travel.
