Job description

The ProjectJohn Holland, CPB Contractors and Ghella Joint Venture (JCG) has commenced design and construction work for the Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package (ETP).ETP includes the construction of 3.5-kilometre tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and the Sydney CBD, and the excavation of Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations. This is the final piece in the puzzle to deliver the city-shaping Sydney Metro West project.Why you should work for us

The role
  • Facilitate Project General induction training for all new hires, ensuring training meets Project standards.
  • Facilitate Underground Tunnelling Inductions and Heavy Vehicle Driver Inductions.
  • Prepare lesson plans, course agenda and partner with subject matter experts to review training content and instructional material so that new hires are receiving relevant and current information.
  • Help facilitate a robust, engaging, and dynamic induction program for new hires.
  • Gather and analyse training feedback and work to continually improve content and learner experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct ongoing refresher training in critical areas as identified by Safety, Quality, Environment, and Operations teams.
  • Make a positive first impression for new hires by creating a warm welcome and supporting them in transitioning into their roles.
Skills and experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in construction on site and induction training
  • Demonstrated ability in facilitating live group training.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
