The Role:
As the Industrial Electrician, you will be a key member of our maintenance team, performing service work, wiring of panels for equipment and contributing to small to medium sized installation projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conduct electrical maintenance, repairs and installations of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and effectively repair electrical systems.
- Complete panel building.
- Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to maintain and improve production efficiency.
- Follow site EHS policies and procedures and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for all.
Skills & Experience:
The successful applicant will be a qualified electrical mechanical fitter who has:
- Valid electrical trade qualification (mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- A strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, PLC and Safety Controls highly desired.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Current High Risk Work License (LF) is advantageous.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Project experience (working to timeframes).
- Ability to be on call for unplanned maintenance or repairs.
