Industrial Electrician

Interlec is an Electrical Construction Company based in Bibra Lake seeking experienced construction / installation electricians to work primarily within the Industrial Electrical sector on projects throughout regional Western Australia.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:-

• Live in Western Australia.  Ideally living south of the river location, but this is not essential.
• Ability to work in Perth, remote areas and roster arrangements (14 days on 7 days off).
• Strong schematic and control wiring capabilities.
• Excellent on the tools ability.
• Meet company productivity as directed.
• Sound knowledge of Industrial Electrical Construction applications within Australia.
• Sound working knowledge of and application of AS/NZS3000:2018 and AS/NZS3017.
• Sound working knowledge of and be able to undertake Electrical Testing, Inspection and Verification, to Australian Standards and Client Scopes and Specifications.
• Excellent personal attributes and high attention to detail, with the ability to liaise with clients and management.
• Sound knowledge of Construction applications.
• Sound experience and ability to carry out terminating of cabling of Switchboards, MCC, Local Control Station and Motor Control Equipment.
• EEHA Certification is favourable but not essential.
• Ability to accept, understand and implement verbal instruction.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Positive can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
• Full tool kit including Battery operated tools.
• Able to pass Daily Drug & Alcohol Testing.

What qualifications and other requirements you need:-

• All certifications, licenses to be current.
• WA Electrical Licence.
• Current WA Drivers Licence (manual essential).
• White Card.
• EWP to 100ft.
• Confined Space.
• First Aid.
• Working at Heights.
• COVID 19 Vaccination (preferred).
