JG Schulz has been providing motor body building services since 1930. We are a well established business with a solid reputation for high quality truck body building. We are looking for an enthusiastic Industrial Spray Painter to join our growing team of body building professionals.
Position Description and Responsibilities
If you're a committed Spray Painter who takes pride in their work, we'd love to hear from you! This is a full time position based at Wingfield. You will be responsible for preparation, spray painting, repairs and touch ups to truck bodies, trays, trailers and accessories. Preference will be given to trade qualified applicants with relevant industry experience.
Your duties will include:
- Painting, sanding, priming, sealing, and patching as required
- Maintenance of the paint booth including cleaning the area, replacing filters on extraction system and cleaning painting equipment.
- Maintain MSDS file for all products in use.
- Ensure safe storage of all paint products.
- Ordering of supplies as required and replenishing paint booth stock
- Use required safety equipment as advised on MSDS and WHS legislation.
- Follow instructions on job sheets
- Adhere to all work policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
You must have proven experience in a similar environment and possess a good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
