Defence Coating Systems has an opportunity for an experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our team working the paint workshop based in Wingfield.
This is a hands-on opportunity that offers full time hours to utilize your skill, knowledge, and/or qualifications in Industrial Spray Painting within a progressive and successful organization.
Duties include, but not limited to;
- Spray painting of small, medium and large parts for the Defence, Mining and Industrial sectors using conventional spray equipment and airless spray-painting equipment with two pack epoxy paint and two pack polyurethane paints
- Preparation of equipment for paint
- Mixing paint
- Maintaining the booth and preparation areas in immaculate condition
- Loading and unloading of product
- Touch up painting
- Inspection of own work
To be considered you must have;
- Broad Knowledge and experience in the Industrial spray-painting area
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience with airless and conventional spray equipment
- Experience with applying two pack epoxy paints and two pack polyurethane paints
- Self-motivation and able to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to demonstrate a genuine care for the wellbeing of the company, and a sense of company ownership
- Have own transport and drivers’ licence
- A positive team player outlook
- Experience in working in a workshop environment
- A forklift licence would be highly regarded
