About the Role

We are seeking an 3 experienced Industrial/Mine Site Electricians for an urgent start on our clients underground shaft project at the South 32 Appin Colliery. 

We require electricians with Industrial or Mining Electrical experience. You must be motivated and willing to work autonomously as our client only has a small crew. You must be willing to work in an underground environment and have the ability to read, interpret and modify detailed schematic diagrams.

These roles are for an ASAP start and will run until approx until Nov 24 but may extend.

This is a residential only role.

NOTE: Due to fatigue management you must be based within 1 hour drive to Menangle, NSW.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;

• Formal trade qualification as an Electrician. 
• NSW Electrical Licence 
• LVR and CPR - (valid for 12 months)
• Manual Australian Drivers Licence
• White card  
• National Police Clearance (valid for 6 months from date of issue) 
• Working at Heights (RIIWHS204E) 
• Provide First Aid HLTAID011  (Valid for 3 years from the date of issue)
• Australian working rights
• The ability to read, interpret and modify detailed schematic diagrams.
• We require electricians with Industrial or Mining Electrical experience. 
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
• A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.
• Successful candidates will also be required to pass a coal board medical, our client will arrange & pay for this on your behalf.

What's in it for you?

• Casual role until end Nov 24 but may extend.
• Monday to Friday day shift only. Option for Saturday work if you would like extra hours.
• 12 hours shifts
• Flat casual hourly rate of $65-$70 per hour. However our client is willing to look at a higher rate based on experience. Super is paid on all hours worked.
• Weekly pays while working for Taurus.
