Great opportunity for an Infrastructure Architect with proven Data-Centre Migration experience required for an exciting cutting-edge project in the NSW Government sector.The Opportunity:
Working in a highly skilled team of I.T infrastructure professional, this role will focus creating the infrastructure design for a major Data Centre migration project (of physical and virtual servers), for this prestigious NSW Government organisation. Duties will include developing architecture designs, creating dependency mappings, and engaging with external vendors. This is a highly exciting role to work with some of-the-best in the business, within an innovative technical environment. This initial contract will be for 2 years (until EOFY 2026) with further extensions likely and will be performed in the client’s greater Western Sydney offices (min 3 days per week), and working from home (max 2 days per week)Please Note – Applications looking for a fully-remote or interstate role, need not apply.Required skills and experience:

• 7+ years’ experience as an Infrastructure Architect in total
• 5+ years’ experience of Infrastructure Designs & Dependency Mapping
• 3+ years’ experience of Data Centre Migrations
• Proven experience of the following: Mainframe, Dell, SAN Storage, VMWare Virtualisation
• Excellent communication & client stakeholder experience

Nice to have:

• Proven experience of working in “PROTECTED” work environments
• Certified in TOGAF Architecture
• Security Cleared to NV1, NV2 or Baseline level
