About Us
The Infusion Clinic was established in 2015 as a nursing service to administer doctor prescribed therapies. We pride ourselves in providing doctors and their patients with access to a flexible, efficient and high-quality infusion services. Our 3 clinics provide over 10,000 infusion per year.
We provide a range of IV therapies such as Iron infusions, and biologics for patients with autoimmune and chronic illnesses. Our nurses are passionate about providing a positive impact for our patients’ healthcare journey.
The Infusion Clinic is a fast-paced work environment, built around efficiency and good teamwork.
You must have advanced cannulation skills and be very organised. As we do not have a doctor on site you must also have the confidence to work independently and manage adverse events.
This is a part-time role for 3 days a week mainly in our Randwick clinic: Wednesdays and Saturdays with the 3rd day negotiable. Hours are 0800-1630.
About you
You will need to be passionate about providing exceptional care to your patients and making a significant contribution to their treatment journey. You will also need:
- Current registration with AHPRA (Essential)
- Advanced peripheral cannulation skills (Essential)
- Experience in infusion of IV Iron and Biologic therapies (Desirable)
- Advanced clinical assessment skills (Essential)
- Current CPR (Essential)
- Experience and confidence to work independently (Essential)
- Experience in the management of adverse medication reactions (Essential)
- Intermediate level computing skills (Essential)
