The Company
Our client is a thriving plastics products company is in high demand for experienced Injection Moulding Operators who can support their site. Located in Logan, our client is currently looking for motivated and keen candidates to start in their processing plant to kick start a permanent opportunity.
The Position
We currently have 3 vacancies for Injection Moulding Operators, the hours of work are 7am-3pm with paid overtime when required. There is a possibility of afternoon and night shifts available for the right applicant. The rate for PM and nights will attract shift loading.
Reporting to the supervisor, your day to day duties and responsibilities will include:

• Support mould change overs
  
• Set up and maintain machine parameters
  
• Making machine adjustments as necessary to ensure a superior product as per our quality standards
  
• Quality control checks and reporting
  
• Trouble shooting machinery faults
  
• General repair and maintenance duties
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  The Person
  
• Demonstrated industry experience with Plastic Moulding Machine, Set up and Operation
  
• Minimum 3 years in similar position
  
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
  
• Mechanical aptitude with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment
  
• Current Forklift an advantage
  
• Trouble shooting on machinery when required
  
• High attention to detail
  
• Ability to conduct quality checks throughout the production process
  
• The ability to work overtime when required
  
• Be dedicated to safe working practices
  
• Ability to work in a team environment
