About the role:
As our Injury Management & Wellbeing Coordinator, you'll be the co-pilot in our mission to ensure a smooth and safe journey for our employees. You'll navigate through the challenges of Injury Management with expertise, ensuring early intervention and seamless recovery journeys. Your role is crucial in supporting our Health and Wellbeing Lead to implement programs that boost health and reduce safety risks, making Sydney Airport not just a place to travel through, but a great place to work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Chart the course for effective Injury Management, ensuring a focus on recovery and return to work.
- Liaise with our Insurance team to manage workers' insurance incidents and claims, keeping our premiums in check.
- Provide expert advice across the organisation to mitigate health and wellbeing risks.
- Co-create and implement health initiatives, with an emphasis on mental health and wellbeing.
- Coordinate engaging health and wellbeing campaigns, events, and communications.
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance Sydney Airport’s health and wellbeing programs.
- Contribute to the drafting of safety reports for management and the Board.
- Ensure our health and wellbeing policies and documents are up-to-date and of the highest quality.
The experience you’ll have:
- An understanding of WHS and Injury Management principles.
- Experience in a Return to Work Coordinator role, with a good grasp of NSW workers compensation legislation.
- Experience in health and wellbeing or occupational rehabilitation, ready to support our diverse crew.
