Bring your case management expertise to this exciting Injury Recovery opportunity
Haylo People are currently recruiting an opportunity for a Injury Recovery Advisorto join a community services organisation based in Burwood, VIC.We are seeking a candidate who can bring their empathetic and caring expertise to this role, achieving early Injury Recovery, return to work and appropriate compensation outcomes. You will report directly to the Injury Recovery Services Team Leader, effectively case managing a portfolio of compensation claims.
The Role:
- Effectively communicate verbally, including face to face and in writing with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Obtain all relevant information required to accurately manage claims.
- Carry out the role of return to work coordinator
- Develop and maintain ongoing management strategy for each claim.
- Provide information to the insurer in a timely manner including certificates, Return to Work Plans and other relevant information.
- Identify improvements in processes and develop strategies and systems to manage the workload.
- Review and maintain estimates of the cost of claims based on the strategy for each claim.
- Record information in the claims database and claim files and make effective use of the database to assist claim management.
- Provide reports and information about claims and costs as required.
About You:
- An industry related qualification or equivalent practical experience in the management of personal injury compensation claims.
- Excellent ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a diverse range of clients.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a diverse range of clients.
- Experience and ability in interpreting and applying policy, procedure, regulations and legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships and negotiate/influence the actions and attitudes of external and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team environment.
- 3 to 5 years experience in return to work
