An exciting full time opportunity exists for an experienced Tradesman to join this reputable company, based in Craigieburn.

- A Grade Electrician or qualified Fitter & Turner
- Manufacturing experience is not required
- $125,000 p.a. plus 12% super (includes 30% Night Shift loading)
- Night Shift: 10.30pm - 6.30am Sunday to Thursday

The Inspections Systems Technician will be responsible for providing support, quality inspection and maintenance and repairs to the cutting and automated inspection equipment used to produce bank notes. This is an excellent opportunity if you are a qualified tradesman looking for a change of environment and new challenge!
Your responsibilities will include, although are not limited to:
- Work closely with the finishing team to ensure customer orders are met on time and at the required quality
- Identify defects or quality issues with notes produced through the automated inspection equipment
- Provide feedback on production performance, defects and any issues relevant to the shift with the aim of reducing spoilage
- Plan and complete maintenance and breakdown repairs to the manufacturing equipment
- Provide training and feedback to production staff
To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the following attributes:
- A Grade Electrician's licence or qualified Fitter and Turner. Qualified Mechanics with an electrical aptitude will also be considered
- A mechanical aptitude with a "hands on" approach to assist with troubleshooting issues
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment an advantage but not essential
- Good computer skills
- Must be available to work Night Shift
- Must have a clear police record and be willing to do a medical check
- Proactive approach to drive continuous improvement
- Safety first attitude - always complying to OH&S procedures ensuring a safe working environment
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
