About the role:
Masterwall WA requires a Site Supervisor to oversee the timely and compliant installation of our wall panel system and finishing texture systems in the residential and light commercial construction markets. You will be supporting the installation sub-contractors and working closely with the customer/construction site supervisors to ensure all work is conducted in a timely manner and to design specifications.
Our products are installed in a wide range of residential builds across the Perth metro area, the South-West region and also as far north as Exmouth. The opportunity to travel to the regions is available should the need arise.
Attributes, Skills & Requirements:
- Assist allocated sub-contractors and suppliers on site and be the liaison between the customer site supervisor and our trades.
- Understand working drawings and specific project/site requirements
- Inform projects team immediately of any events which might cause delay or stoppage of works, and maintain good communication across the duration of each project
- Authorise payments to sub-contractors after site inspection
- Generate inspection reports using ipad & i-Auditor software at various stages of the project including prior to trades commencing and on completion of each job.
- Review JHA’s, SWMS and make recommendations where required
- Be familiar with and work to comply with WH&S requirements, ensuring our installation is performed within a safe working environment
- Record and report incidents of health/safety/security/damage immediately
- Attend site meetings as needed
- Ensure our sub-contractors maintain a neat and clean job site
- Excellent customer service and able to communicate clearly and positively with both sub-contractors and customers
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Good work ethic, with the ability to work and thrive under pressure
- Current White Card (mandatory)
- C Class Driver’s License (mandatory)
Qualifications & Experience:
A trade background in residential construction is preferred with exposure to timber & steel frame lightweight construction methods, or an estimating & design background in residential housing. Qualifications in Building & Construction will be highly regarded. If you are currently or recently employed in the residential or commercial building industry in WA that is advantageous.
