About the role:
Based in Macquarie Park, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Installation Supervisor to join a leading supplier of both medical and laboratory equipment with over 2,000 customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for project management and providing end to end installation services on our products. For smaller installations you will supervise all site survey pre-installation, supervise the install, coordinate trades for the install and liaise with the customer. For larger installations you will work in conjunction with our National Projects Team.
This role involves frequent and regular state-wide travel to customer & supplier sites and some interstate travel.
Your responsibilities:
Work closely with project teams, builders and tradespersons to effectively run the installation, planning and management of our equipment.
Preliminary installation work including confirmation that CAD drawings are accurate
Perform pre-install assessments of equipment
Provide technical expertise in systems installation and integration to the Project Team
Conduct the end to end installation of equipment process on site
By nature, you will preferably:
Possess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships with our internal and external stakeholders
Have the ability to work autonomously with a clear customer focused orientation
Have the drive and enthusiasm to succeed and provide solutions that add genuine value
Take a hands-on approach to service delivery
Be technically minded and an excellent problem solver
Technically you will ideally:
Be a current holder of a Restricted Electrical License (up to 1000 watts disconnect reconnect for 3 phase)
Biomedical engineering experience/ qualifications will be highly regarded
Have equivalent experience such as knowledge of mechanics, electronics, electrical motors or industrial washers/ washing machines
Have sound knowledge or experience in Pneumatics, Steam, and Pressure valves – experience with these in a medical setting environment will be highly regarded
Skilled in reviewing building plans and liaising with a Project Team for the initial phase of the installation.
Hold a valid driver’s license
