Factory Direct Shutters is an award winning, reputable family business that has serviced retail customers for all of their window furnishing needs in Southeast Queensland for over 20 years. The company is experiencing significant growth through the region and have a need for a new installer to join our team in the Western Brisbane territory.

Please note that prior experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential in being successful in this position. If you have the right attitude and don't mind getting in and having a go, this is the job for you.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

• Experience using hand and power tools and measuring devices
• Computer literacy with a basic understanding of Microsoft office applications
• Open and current manual drivers license
• Competent in numeracy and literacy
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Punctual and reliable in attendance
• Well presented
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Installation of window furnishing products in customer homes - e.g. Shutters, Awnings, Blinds, Curtains etc.
• Provide exceptional, professional, and courteous customer service.
• Resolving customer queries to enhance the customer experience.
• Completing rectification work when required.
• Maintaining technical knowledge of product range.
• Accurate check and measure of new install.
• Accurate record keeping and completion of required documentation.
