We have an exciting opportunity for an Instructional Designer to join the HenderCare team! This newly established position will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging content and learning experiences for our employees in both mixed-modal and self-learning environments.

About the Role

In this role, you can expect to review, develop, design, and deliver innovative and engaging content to the entirety of our HenderCare workforce through our digital learning software. Working across a national perspective, you will leverage your strong design knowledge and principles to create high-quality, impactful, efficient, and engaging training materials and content that drive successful capabilities and knowledge growth whilst also enhancing the learning experience.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Develop learning activities and assessments with Subject Matter Experts (SME).
  • Collate content material and update courses to reflect industry standards.
  • Conduct organisation-wide needs assessments to determine future enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organisational needs.
About You

You will bring a human-centred design approach to this role to ensure the content and collateral delivered to HenderCare's workforce is engaging, innovative, and current. Being adaptable to change have the ability to bring a growth mindset will help you succeed in this role.

You will also have:

  • A tertiary qualification in instruction design, e-learning technology, or any other related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with e-learning software such as Adobe Captivate and/or Flash, Lectora, Camtasia, or SCORM.
  • Experience with HTML and XML coding.
  • Demonstrated experience designing highly interactive content and accompanying instructional texts and scripts.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will also need:
