UGL are currently seeking suitably qualified Insulators/Laggers, to work on a brownfields construction project in Darwin, Northern Territory. The project will commence in March 2024, with an estimated 9-12-month duration. You will be a local Darwin resident and work a 5/2 roster, or work a 19/9 fly in fly out roster.
You will be responsible for applying insulation and lagging materials to various surfaces and equipment in accordance with project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the construction process.
Responsibilities:
Install insulation materials on pipes, vessels, and equipment to meet project requirements.
Apply lagging materials to maintain temperature control and prevent heat loss.
Interpret and follow workpacks and specifications
Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas accurately.
Safely use hand and power tools to complete insulation and lagging tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Insulator/Lagger in the construction industry.
Construction White Card
Working at Heights & Confined Space Ticket
EWP (preferred)
Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to the job.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
