AddressProspero Teaching are working closely with schools across Melbourne who are looking for dedicated Teacher Aides to support children with learning difficulties by providing a nurturing and inclusive educational environment. We are seeking passionate and compassionate Education Support staff to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.
Your role
- Support students with learning difficulties in a classroom setting.
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Help with classroom activities and manage classroom behaviour.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress.
- Monitor and report on student progress and development.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with learning difficulties or in a similar role.
- Certificate III or IV in Education Support or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of special education needs and strategies.
