About the Role
The Integration Solution Architect is responsible for the planning, coordination, design, and supervision of all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions primarily on MuleSoft Platform to meet the business requirements of the organization. The integration needs are primarily focused on connecting on-premises and cloud-based commercial software applications with legacy applications.
The Integration Architect should have the skills to work with stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations.
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, data architecture and modelling, system architecture including integration best practices.
- Develops the creation of architectures including the technical designs and solutions associated with the program or project, ensuring deliverables align to the clients Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework, principles, and governance processes.
- Ensure solutions align to the client’s strategic direction for technology investments, and ensuring that solutions are developed, are tested, and implemented accordingly in-line with the company technology roadmap, and report on solution delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes
- Work with the internal program or project team of business analysts, such as other solutions architects, developers, and testers to assist in resolving technical design and solutions challenges and operational issues and participate in and facilitate workshops and presentations with internal and external teams
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Integration platform and application architecture including iPaaS, API Gateways, ETL, ESB and related technologies (e.g., REST, JSON, etc).
- Minimum 2 Years’ experience in MuleSoft Platform.
- Experience in the following technologies/frameworks:Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Digital technology and development; and Service Orientated Architecture (SOA).
- Experience in AWS, Azure, and/or Google cloud services. Application Infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
- Highly experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, and Power Point); and
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and experience in dealing with complex situations.
