Integration Solutions Lead

Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Integrations Solutions Lead. This role requires managing direct reports (Integration Solution Analysts and Developers) as well as the management of the Integration Platform at an organisational level. This involves design, development, procurement, deployment, enhancement activities, alongside the creation and coordination of associated business guidelines, procedures and documentation.

Contract Length: Till 31/12/2024

Payrate: $820 + Super per day

Location: Meadowbank/WFH Hybrid

Role Requirements:

• Efficiently and effectively managing their platforms on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the required business services and outcomes are delivered.
• Design, build and iterate Integration Solutions, using stakeholder driven roadmaps to enable digital products and services and identify opportunities to improve and grow existing platforms and services.
• Ensure delivery and support of robust, high performance platforms to support Integration platforms business needs.
• Develop and manage business service performance processes to ensure the availability, integrity, reliability and stability of Integration platforms and successful achievement of assigned KPIs and ensure business continuity, disaster recovery and service management plans are documented to protect critical business operations.
• Provide foundational services and API gateways to enable future business functionality.
• Work and collaborate with architects and build team leads to develop best practice platforms.
• Embed and lead the API-led approach to integration and delivery of their services in project teams and product teams enabling the Group to build a modern microservice API economy.

Key Challenges:

• Maintaining flexibility and agile platform development to meet changing business priorities, deadlines and tight timeframes.
• Dealing with ambiguity and change while still identifying and implementing sustainable and reusable Integration Solutions.
• Working with other teams with potentially differing delivery expectations to provide support on the roles and responsibilities of integration.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Degree qualification in related field or equivalent significant experience.
• Experience to lead and deliver Integration Solutions for diverse range of projects across multiple platforms.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Webservices, WSDL, JSON, RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge across the various middleware and integration platforms / frameworks - e.g. Mulesoft, EAI, ESB, Tibco, JBOSS, Elasticsearch.
• Ability to clearly articulate and effectively rationalise integration design approach, ideas, and solutions to teams.
