About us:
Intencity opened its first Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) in 1995 and was wholly acquired by Village Roadshow Limited in 1999. We operate closely with Village Cinemas and Warner Village Theme Parks.
Intencity can be found in 5 FEC's locations along the East Coast of Australia (including Adelaide and Tasmania), as well as over 60 game foyer locations. We have a vast array of classic and contemporary video, prize and skill tester games that appeal to every generation.
About the Role:
The Location Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of operations at their dedicated location to comply with divisional, financial, and operational KPI's as well as policy expectations. You will provide support and direction to our fantastic team in ensuring we provide quality guest experience to all our patrons!
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Provide leadership and support to teams and individuals to drive a culture and environment which encourages development, ownership, and accountability
  • Develop relationships with technical teams, external site managers, contractors, and Village Head Office staff.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to exceed Customer Satisfaction.
  • Ensure standards of site presentation, financial and cash controls, technical standards, cleanliness, and employee presentation are exceptional.
  • Develop and implement Local Area Marketing initiatives to drive traffic, meet targets and leverage on opportunities within your trading area.
  • Responsible for financial success of the site including but not limited to Payroll, up selling and cross selling, stock wastage and stock loss, discretionary repairs and maintenance spend and petty cash expenses.
  • Responsible for stock controls ensuring accurate processing, timely completion of stock movements and reduction in stock loss in line with budget.
The successful applicant must also possess the following:
  • Proven experience at a management/supervisory level.
  • Strong financial acumen
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills (word, excel, outlook)
  • Strong customer service and delivery focus
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility in relation to working across a rotational roster including weekends.
