The Role
Reporting directly to an Audit Manager, your primary responsibility will be to work on a broad range of audit assignments for SMEs clients. The position involves financial auditing work, using our audit software, accounting reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing the accuracy of Financial Reports
- Preparation of draft Engagement Letters, Representation Letters, Management Letters, Close Reports and other correspondence
- Preparation of confirmations with debtors, banks and other financial institutions
- Identify future opportunities and site visits for clients
- Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, APS, and CaseWare (or similar audit systems)
- +3 years experience in a similar role
