Opportunity for an emerging Insolvency Accountant to join this prestigious boutique firm
We are looking for an Insolvency / Restructuring accountant with 1 to 4 years’ experience to join this excellent boutique firm.
Based in Sydney CBD (and with offices in Melbourne and Brisbane) this is a dual partner led firm specialising in diverse corporate insolvency and restructuring matters. Working collaboratively with experts including lawyers, accountants, valuers, and other stakeholders, they provide tailored advice to companies facing financial distress.
In this role, you will play a key role handling cases under the guidance of supportive partners, gaining exposure to a diverse range of engagements and developing expertise in best practices for insolvency advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with various insolvency appointments, including MVL, CVL, CL, Business Restructuring, and Receiverships.
- Assist in the management and coordination of cases.
- Apply and enhance your knowledge of current insolvency legislation and statutory guidelines.
- Conduct detailed investigations and analyses of insolvent businesses.
- Communicate effectively with creditors and other stakeholders.
- Continuously expand your understanding of new businesses and challenges.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of exposure to insolvency accounting.
- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- CA/CPA started, part qualified, or fully qualified.
- Enjoy working in a small, supportive, and growing team environment.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
- Currently residing and working in Australia with the necessary working visa.
