Job description

Mobius Institute is a worldwide provider of training and certification in the fields of Reliability Improvement, Condition Monitoring and Precision Maintenance. The education & qualifications we provide allow industrial plant managers, reliability engineers and condition monitoring technicians to be successful in implementing Reliability Improvement programs.

We need a motivated, organised and skilled person for immediate start to coordinate our Internal Systems development projects. You will primarily work with our team and our IT developers on enhancing our Training Management System (TMS). The TMS is our centralised system for courses, students, instructors and training administrators, and is the core of our information and processing.

You will gather, organise, prioritise and project-manage the enhancements to the system in line with the needs of our team and the direction of our business. You will work closely with our IT developers to implement these, including gathering of requirements, conceptual design of solutions, writing of specifications and testing.

Can you:

· Gain an understanding of systems and technologies?

· Learn our processes in order to implement, enhance or complement them?

· Work under time pressure?

· Work with a team to understand their requirements?

· Specify in plain English the system enhancements required so that they can be understood and implemented by our IT developers?

· Work with our team to ensure that any system development matches the requirements and does not ‘break’ any other functions?

· Ensure the quality and accuracy of delivered products?

Do you have technical and product skills including:

· Knowledge of relational databases (we use SQL Server)

· MS Office Suite

· Ability to understand and use SQL queries is a bonus

The role is permanent part-time, 30 hours a week. You will be working out of our Tyabb office.
