We are currently seeking an entry level staff member to join our team in a variety of freight forwarding areas based at our East Devonport office.
Reporting to senior staff some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Caring for operational tasks for inbound and outbound shipments across both Sea and Air
- Communication to various internal and external stakeholders
- Documentation handling and compliance
- Managing and tracking shipments throughout their journey up to and including delivery.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving shipments that may arise.
- Work closely with the team to manage workload and show good initiative to help out when required.
As the position will be entry level previous experience within international logistics will not be required
The successful candidate shall possess.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel and Word )
- High attention to detail
- A proactive and can-do attitude
- Australian Driver license and transport
- Ability to pass a police background check.
