Your responsibilities will include:

This role is a part of an established Export Import (EXIM) team at Lockheed Martin Australia. Working from the Mawson Lakes office, you will have the guidance of an experienced team. This role offers many opportunities to learn and specialise the International Licensing domain by supporting a large number of Australian Defence programs. 

The International Licensing Analyst Associate is primarily responsible for planning and coordinating EXIM activities, maintaining compliance with Australian and international regulations, interfacing with internal and external EXIM operations and organisations and acting as a liaison with customs representative to resolve problems. 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the team and a range of stakeholders across the company with respect to EXIM Compliance matters 
• Assisting the team in maintaining compliance with regulations governing the shipment, transfer, receipt and documentation of EXIM products and technical data
• Contributing as a member of the EXIM Compliance team in accordance with LM policies and EXIM Compliance Management Plan
• Supporting reviews of Australian Export / Supply applications prior to submittal to Defence Export Control (DEC) Office
• Assisting in drafting of Australian Export / Supply applications for LMA
• Supporting compliance programs and tools designed to increase awareness and knowledge of compliance policies, laws and regulations

About you:

To be successful in securing this position, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution (International Trade, Global Supply Chain Management, Commercial or Legal) and/or relevant experience
• Some knowledge of Export / Import Compliance
• Exposure to Supply Chain, Logistics and Customs Procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare and present concise reports, briefings and updates
• Confident, resilient, tenacious and flexible approach 
• Open and positive attitude with ability to manage competing priorities 
• Ability to quickly learn new programs and processes
• Experience within defence/secure working environment will be advantageous 
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian NV1 security clearance and the ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and information
