About the opportunity:We are looking for an Inventory Planner to join us in a full-time permanent role. Based at our Head Office in Adelaide, you will be an integral member of a team that has global reach. The team plays a critical role in the Group’s ability to service a diverse customer portfolio, across multiple products sourced from our manufacturing facilities in Adelaide, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and India.
More specifically, you will:Respond to messages daily from MRP for a set portfolio of items across multiple countries
Inform the Demand and Operations Team Leader of significant variances to forecast
Communicate regularly with sales to ensure consistency of supply
Place all orders on the plant within lead-time expectations
Expedite and de-expedite orders in accordance with demand variation
Identify incorrect inventory parameters or identifying opportunities to improve
Follow up orders to reflect availability in our system
Simplify what is required to meet and exceed customer expectations
Contribute actively to the Group Supply Chain team and work closely with the Demand PlannersAs the successful candidate, you will:Have a passion for key supply chain functions and inventory planning
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and superior communication skills High levels of professional credibility and personal integrity that builds trust
Excellent communication skills and ability to form strong partnerships across the business, with customers and overseas plants
Have a customer focus, with the ability to manage competing demands and meet expectations
