At Abbey Animal Health, we're on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Transactions Controller to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for analytical thinking, and are passionate about maintaining top-notch inventory standards, then this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day inventory tasks, including goods receipt against purchase orders, transfer orders, and inventory transfers by location as well as receipt of goods and entry of records in the system (Jiwa). 
  • Work closely with Sourcing team on inbound shipments and warehousing team to ensure that production orders (BoM kits) are executed efficiently and Bom kit is picked, packed, and delivered correctly. 
  • Responsible for preparing documentation for internal transfer between warehouses and Contract Manufacturers (CMOs). 
  • Independently conduct inspection of Stock on hand with specific attention to batch numbers / expiry.
  • Drive the physical Stock takes from end to end, liaising with the Warehouse managers (Qld and Bendigo) as well as investigating and correcting stock variances.
  • Analyse complex transaction histories to reconcile inventory discrepancies or inconsistencies. Provide insights and analysis on inventory-related data like stock expiry, stock count etc.
  • Prepare stock adjusting entries as required according to policies and regulations.
  • Accountability & Ownership for transactions, receiving goods, costing, ensuring adequate available stock for Bom Kits. 
  • Collaborate with Warehousing, Finance, R&D to implement and foster a strong inventory control environment.
  • Liaise with QA team for quality issues in receipting process, quantity, packaging, storing & shipping goods. 
  • Be a point of contact for the R&D team for dispensing of RAW materials.
  • Adhoc projects as suggested by senior management. 

Tertiary Qualifications & Industry Accreditations:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Production Engineering is preferrable. 
  • The candidate should have at least 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment with exposure to inventory transaction control. 
  • Proven experience in inventory control/ accounting, or warehouse management

  • Ability to work under pressure and undertake multiple concurrent tasks and accountability of project deliverables.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to utilize company resources effectively.
