About your new role:
Working in the Financial Performance and Analysis (FP&A) team, as the Investment Portfolio Manager, you’ll be responsible for the oversight and facilitation of Investment Portfolio management and associated decision-making processes for Energy Queensland. The role oversees the development of frameworks, policies and practices and the provision of specialist advice to the business regarding the investment governance.
You’ll assume accountability for the facilitation and execution of the EQL Investment Management Framework through executing and overseeing the agreed investment management process as approved by Regulatory and Investment Board Committee. This includes analysis of proposed investment decisions, facilitating peer and executive reviews, the provision of expert advice and direction to senior management, portfolio reporting, and performing and overseeing detailed financial modelling.
You’ll motivate and lead a multi-disciplinary team towards the achievement of the organisation's strategic goals and work collaboratively with other members of the wider FP&A group and broader business to achieve team goals.
You can be located at any major location within Queensland.
The remuneration for your new role is from $170K - $211K plus 12.75% superannuation.

About you:
You’re a qualified professional who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Commerce or equivalent discipline with membership of an appropriate professional body. Post graduation qualifications in related field, such as Financial Management or Investment would also be desirable.
You have a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and drive the development and achievement of others by facilitating an effective and satisfying team environment through periods of frequent change. Additionally, you take a strategic focus and effectively implement change across a geographically dispersed organisation.
You will bring expert financial modelling and analytical skills including interpreting financial and non-financial performance information and applying judgement to draw conclusions and business insight.
You demonstrate integrity and authenticity in working with others.
Your highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills facilitate effective communication, collaboration, building relationships and, inspires and motivates others to perform. You model safe, professional, and ethical behaviour, consistently demonstrating and communicating in a way which prioritises safety, promotes trust, respect & integrity.
