About The Role
We are looking to fill the role for an experienced iOS App Developer to continue development, upgrade, redesign, release and support our client facing app. The app must be built to be a high availability mobile application. You will need to be experienced across the entire SDLC, and working within a CI/CD framework and automation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Active participation in different stages of the Software Development and Maintenance Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Problem Analysis, Coding and Testing of software applications
Systems Design - Specifies user/system interfaces and translates logical designs into physical designs taking account of target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems.
Requirements Definition and Management - Uses established techniques as directed to identify current problems and elicit, specify and document business functional, data and non-functional requirements for simple subject areas with clearly defined boundaries.
Optimizes/ reduces the amount of rework, thereby improving the total cost of development through standardization, re-usability and monitoring first time quality
Application development - Delivery of high-quality code deliverables, validation for all types of testing and support activities
Release and Deployment - Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities.
Application Support - Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications.
Agile way of working - You are expected to work with agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban
Improve current processes and pro-actively recommend creative solutions to address current problems
Keeping up to date with emerging IT, business, economic, and market trends
Preferred Skills /Competencies:
Strong iOS & Android development experience
Proven history of apps currently in each platform app store
Deep experience with the iOS or Android SDK
Flutter experience
Strong knowledge of all relevant app development languages & technologies
API design and development
Strong knowledge of mobile design principles and interface guidelines
Unit and UI testing skills
Familiarity with Push Notifications and Cloud Messaging
Strong Knowledge of Apple design principles and application Interface guidelines
