Conducting soil tests and analyzing plant water requirements to determine appropriate irrigation practices;
Monitoring water usage and implementing strategies to optimize water efficiency and conservation;
Outstanding commitment to the Winery, quality, hygiene and food safety.
Overseeing the installation of irrigation systems, including laying pipes, installing valves, fittings, and sprinklers, and setting up control systems such as timers or sensors;
Collecting data on irrigation system performance, water usage, and plant health metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement;
Assessing factors such as soil type, plant water requirements, topography, and available water sources to create efficient and effective irrigation plans;
Conducting routine maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity;About you:At least 2 years of of experience as Irrigationist;
Familiarity with basic electrical principles for wiring irrigation controllers;
Ability to diagnose and resolve problems with irrigation systems, such as low water pressure, clogged pipes, faulty valves, or uneven water distribution;
Environmental awareness:
Knowledge of water conservation principles and techniques to minimize water waste and maximize efficiency in irrigation practices;
