It Field Engineer

Role Title:  IT Field Engineer / IT Field ServiceTechnician  

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• The role is based in Sydney, Australia.

Job Summary:- 

• Prior experience working and providing support in hardware break and fix, installation, desk-side software, hardware & networking support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and servers.
• Provide support for hardware troubleshooting such as laptops, desktops, and monitors.
• Install and maintain PCs along with associated accessories and peripherals
• People having experience in IT Field Engineer / Technician or Datacenter experience can apply.
• People with Limited-Service Desk Experience of 1 year in IT Service Desk, Help Desk, IT Support Analyst, or Technical Support can apply.

You will deliver value by:

• Private Label Services Support
• Transformation Services calls, installing and servicing PCs, and PC peripherals and/or electronic equipment.
• Takes service calls and performs incident-specific activities as directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script.
• May perform routine installs, moves, adds, and changes as part of a directed team, including:
• Complex desktop and laptop break-fix work
• Whole unit replacement
• Simple desktop printer fixes
• Load software with a script
• Performs scripted image loading, unit diagnostics, and replaceable unit swapping. 
• Perform troubleshooting by running basic diagnostics and performing basic module replacement on PCs, servers, and peripherals.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Work experience of minimum 1- 2 years in hardware break and fix, installation, desk-side software support, and service desk support.
• Specific Manufacturer's certifications as required. i.e. EMC, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, and Unisys. CompTIA, and NETWORK PLUS 
• Troubleshooting PC, networks, servers, software and hardware problems, and Microsoft applications. 
• General knowledge of desktop hardware and software including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Previous experience with troubleshooting hardware problems (essential)
