As a self-starting IT Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT-related risks.
Occasionally you will be required to speak to global stakeholders outside of standard office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats in our IT systems.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide actionable recommendations and reports to stakeholders regarding risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and trends in IT risk management and cybersecurity.
- Proven experience as an IT Risk Analyst or similar role, ideally with a solid understanding of IT risk management principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Word, Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information to identify and prioritise risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
