As a key member of the IT team, you will responsible for:
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls for level 1 technical support
- Manage Network access
- Install required applications on desktops
- Undertake diagnostic investigations and where necessary, arrange in-house repair or remedial action
- Liaise with technicians and internal customers in relation to their calls/requests
- 1+ year of previous Help Desk/Troubleshooting experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to detect, analyse and resolve hardware and software problems
- A strong work ethic and proven ability to work successfully as part of a team
- An interest in working in a help desk environment or technical support related role
- A strong background working with Windows operating systems
- Understanding of Windows Server
- Understanding of network protocols
- Understanding of IT related hardware and software solutions
- An interest in supporting software and applications within the windows environment
- Any background with POS systems (this is an advantage but not a pre-requisite)
- A completed qualification in IT or someone studying towards IT would be highly regarded
