Metadata Services is a growing ICT Managed Service Provider. We support small and medium businesses to grow. We are on the lookout for an impressive IT Support Engineer to join our helpdesk and support team.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT team as a Junior Helpdesk Technician. This position will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with various IT tasks.
This is a part time job 8 to 20 hours a month, with the possibility to increase as we go. This is a good post for IT students who would like to get some experience in related field of study.
Requirements:
- VCE or equivalent; IT Diploma, or Bachelor in Computer Science
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a technical support role or helpdesk environment is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
