Japanese-Speaking Export Sales Coordinator-logistic

Essentially the role is to work with our customers and our Forestry Division facilities to ensure that to provide woodchip products to our overseas customers, primarily in Japan and China. Liaison will be conducted in both English and Japanese and therefore we are seeking a person fluent in both languages.
We are open to persons who have at least one year experience in a sales order processing and support role who have Permanent Resident, Partner visa status (or citizenship rights) in Australia, The salary will be dependent on the experience.
Scope and Purpose
The role is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate execution of Export Sales and shipping documentation of Australian sourced forest products exported to Japan. The job holder will check ship loadings and schedules and report to Tokyo Head office as appropriate. They will also report monthly forest news and aggregated export figures to management.
The job holder might also assist with certain miscellaneous administrative tasks as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Liaison with Japan Head office and suppliers for business enquiries, shipment schedule.
- SAP (Main21) entries (contracts, postings, payment arrangements, receipt of funds)
- Preparing and checking shipping documents.
- Reporting of daily loading progress to Tokyo including making loading reports.
- Making monthly reports of Australian forest news, economic figures and aggregating Australian export figures.
Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
- Japanese Language speaker
- Familiarity with export documentation and shipping
- Knowledge of SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications is preferred but not mandatory
- High attention to details and strict adherence to established procedures.
- High integrity and honesty.
- Permanent resident, Citizen, Partner Visa, No working holiday or student visa
