Our client, a global Japanese company is seeking candidates for Japanese Speaking Accountant or Finance Manager - depends on experience. This role will responsible for preparing financial statements and reports, budgeting, forecasting and supporting audit.
Description
This role will suit for an individual with strong accounting knowledge.
The key responsibilities and duties of the role:
- Support monthly accounting closure process & update management report.
- Perform monthly/quarterly analysis against previous forecast and budget and report
- on variances.
- Consider / discuss about Budget/Forecast with Tokyo
- Liaise with JV Manager to obtain accounting and financial information.
- Prepare/validate accounting transactions
- Perform monthly reconciliations
- Support J-SOX documentation to ensure compliance with internal rules and regulations.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Profile
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
- Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded
- CA/CPA preferred but not a must.
- Japanese language skill is a must
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with various stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
