Java Analyst Programmer

Excellent Opportunity for a Java Analyst Programmer to join a friendly team that are working on a number of exciting initiatives.

• $110-140/hour | 6 Month Contract + ext | Great Team Environment

As the Java Analyst Programmer you will be part of a team engaged in the development maintenance of a number of new applications that will support the new initiatives implemented recently in Queensland. You will be engaged as a Java Developer for an initial period of 6 months (with the possibility of extension).Role Responsibilities

• Undertake analysis and design activities, liaising with stakeholders and the the team to develop an in-depth understanding of application requirements.
• Develop technical design documents in line with business standards.
• Undertake applications programming duties to deliver to business requirements.
• Undertake unit testing.
• Assist in functional, load and user acceptance testing as required.
• Review projects and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in any other related tasks or activities as directed by the Manager.

Experience required:You will need to be a senior developer with strong Java Application Design, Coding, and Implementation experience with:

• Excellent front end development skills employing Angular 14, Bootstrap, typescript,
• Experience in Java, Spring suite, Hibernate.
• PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes desirable.
• Rest APIs and Microservices.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies: refactoring, TDD, continuous integration.
• Excellent client facing and presentation capability; and
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
