At Gracie Barra Castle Hill, the Head Coach is responsible for driving and building the BJJ program and to ensure a positive customer experience aligned with our Gracie Barra mission of teaching students excellence through the art of Jiu-jitsu. We will help them to build the strength and resilience to achieve their goals on and off the mats. We will always strive to be a world class team, competing around the world at the highest level. We will always foster a family-friendly environment that welcomes and nurtures anyone who wants to train Jiu-jitsu.
This leader is responsible for delivering great member service, Private/Small Group Training & supporting the revenue goals of the Academy. As the Leader and Head BJJ Coach you will be responsible for recruiting other BJJ coaches and participating in community events to drive awareness of the Gracie Barra program. This position requires availability on weekends.
Teaching relevant skills, tactics and techniques (bjj for kids and adults)
Monitoring and enchanting performance by providing tuition
Requirements:
- Bjj Belt Certificate
- Bjj Lineage verification
- First Aid certificate
- Current CPR/AED certification
- NSW Working With Children Check
- Minimum 4 years of related teaching experience
Knowledge, Sills & abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of BJJ techniques
- knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to generate, maintain and demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
