Job Description
At MADEC we have a different title for Employment Consultants - we call you a Job Coach as you are there to guide our clients into a job. You work with job seekers to address employment barriers and support them into sustainable ongoing employment.
Key Duties
Introducing newly registered jobseekers to MADEC services;
Complete Job Readiness Assessment tool and provide job search strategies
Coaching and mentoring participants to set goals by hosting individual appointments to assist with resume preparation, job searching tips, and upskilling opportunities
Work collaboratively with our Operational staff to provide localised opportunities to your clients
Maintain administration and monitor client progress required under policy and compliance frameworks using online and in-house systems
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Are you a customer focused individual with the passion to effectively engage and motivate participants on their pathway to employment? Are you motivated to achieve in a KPI-driven environment?
Industry experience is not required. To succeed in this role will be confident but approachable with great communication and administration skills, to allow you to monitor and report on participant activities, progress and requirements. You are highly organised and work well in a team environment but thrive when working on your own to juggle demands, achieve targets and meet deadlines.
Valid driver’s licence, National Police Check and Working with Children Check are a requirement of this role.
