THE OPPORTUNITY

Salary: 103,989 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.   Location: Bourke campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Appointment to 31 December 2024. Please note this is a maternity leave coverage.

Hold a Nursing Bachelor’s Degree, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and are a Registered Nurse with AHPRA? Join our team as a Nursing Teacher at Holmesglen and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and training programs!

Your responsibilities will encompass guiding students through the entire learning process, from course inquiry to assessing their educational needs. Utilising various teaching and assessment strategies, you'll manage the learning process effectively.

Additionally, you'll develop resources, maintain industry relationships, and collaborate within a team to support departmental operations and ensure student learning outcomes are achieved.

ABOUT YOU

  • Required qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing & Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus must be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Vocational and Higher Education sector and VET policies.
  • Current & extensive industry expertise, particularly in technology and educational practices.
  • Proficiency in contemporary teaching methods and promoting independent learning.
  • Experience in innovative program design, flexible learning, and ICT utilisation.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills essential for effective teaching.
