About the OPPORTUNITY
We currently have an opportunity for a Fly in and Fly out (FIFO) Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, flying out of Perth. You will be based at our remote Laverton, WA location for your 15 days on.

You will be responsible for:
You will be responsible for ongoing support for operations, maintenance and development of the facilities supporting the Jindalee Operational Radar Network (JORN) capability as defined under the JORN Support Contract. In addition to this, you will ensure that the technical and operational support associated with facilities activities is achieved in accordance with the contractual and company requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure that company mandated requirements for Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) have been flowed down through the onsite teams and contractors; demonstrate being a ‘Safety Leader'.
- Ensure the effective day-to-day coordination of facilities and maintenance activities.
- Effectively plan and manage the maintenance and repair of designated facility systems in a manner that enables business targets to be achieved.
- Provide effective maintenance planning and analysis of relevant facilities equipment using the applicable Maintenance Management System (MMS).
- Monitor facilities and plant maintenance activities to ensure an acceptable quality standard of work is performed.
- Ensure Facilities support for JORN and associated systems is conducted in accordance with the Facilities Support Services Plan (FSSP).
- Engage Asset Management principles to assist in the short and long term planning for Facilities assets on site.
- Provide sustainment supportability review for proposed Facilities installations into JORN.
- Ensure Facilities preventative maintenance is performed on time and appropriate fault recording and configuration control is maintained at JORN sites.
- Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.
- Significant knowledge, ability and experience in the maintenance and repair of facilities and plant such as electrical systems, power generators, building air-conditioning, refrigeration, fire, water and sewerage systems.
- Intermediate to high level of computer literacy and IT skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory standards.
- Effective use and understanding of Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) principles. With the ability to analyse maintenance/spares reports and workflows.
- Experience liaising with service contractors and service providers.
- Ideally a trade or technical background.
