Junior 3D Artist

Scharp is a leading architectural visualisation studio, committed to producing high quality 3d visualisation and interactive media. We collaborate with eminent design, development and construction companies to create high-end imagery, fly-through animations, movies and interactive applications that showcase landmark projects throughout Australia.

We're looking for a Junior 3D Artist looking to launch their 3D visualisation career in highly regarded studio.

Working on a diverse range of large scale projects, you will be exposed to all facets of visualisation and studio workflow. Your passion for architecture and design, combined with some 3D experience will see you develop your skills within a supportive team of creative professionals. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and eager to learn from a dynamic and highly skilled team. Key Responsibilities:

• Scene composition for both interior and exterior environments
• Import, modify and optimise 3D models
• Assist with modeling, texturing and lighting of various types of architecture and entourage assets

Skills Required:

• Ability to understand, read and work with 2D architectural drawings
• Fluent in various 3D model file formats
• Architectural modeling in 3DS Max
• Knowledge of 3D plugins such as Railclone, Forest Pack, Anima and V-Ray
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and receive and implement feedback
• Excellent organisational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience working in 3D Visualisation studio preferred

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary package negotiable based on experience and portfolio.
