JUNIOR CONVEYANCER/SUPPORT
We are a boutique conveyancing home based office located in Taylors Lakes.
We have a newly created role for a part time Junior Conveyancer who has a baseline level of understanding of conveyancing, who holds at least 12 months’ industry experience in a support role.
The right applicant will have a ‘can do’ attitude with the commitment to grow professionally into a fully-pledged conveyancer. You will be trained and mentored by the Director.
This position requires three days per week, Monday, Wednesday & Friday. With the ability to flourish into a full time position.
Our preferred candidate will have the following skills and attributes with an immediate start:
- Professional presentation
- Strong time management and is extremely organised
- Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities
- Strong attention to detail with adaptable qualities
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Ability to manage clients with courtesy, respect and efficiency at all times
- Ability to ask for assistance when needed
The duties involved with this position include and are not limited to:
- Day to day running and management of conveyancing files (with supervision of the Licenced Conveyancer)
- Opening new files, preparing letters/correspondence and invoicing
- Reception and general enquires of clients
- Monitoring critical dates to ensure deadlines are met
- General admin and filing
- Ability to use and understand Pexa & DOL
Salary will be based on the applicants level of experience.
Regular performance reviews will be completed.
VIC Police Check required prior to commencement.
